Nomination gives renewed impetus to the Packaging & Chocolate team at the SACMI USA base in Des Moines (Iowa) following years of steady growth under the guidance of Mark Lozano.
Previously Area Manager, Clemens brings with him a wealth of experience in packaging and chocolate.
SACMI is going for further Packaging & Chocolate business growth in the States.
Sebastian Clemens, Area Manager since 2020 and highly experienced in the packaging and chocolate industries, has now been promoted to Director of Sales of the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate US branch.
His appointment strengthens the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate business on the strategic American market. This SACMI Group Business Unit is the only provider in the world capable of providing - through its successful Carle&Montanari and OPM brands - turnkey solutions for the chocolate industry (machines and complete lines for chocolate preparation and moulding), wrapping solutions for every kind of cocoa-based product, flowpack lines (biscuits, bars and other bakery products) and secondary packaging solutions for food and non-food products.
With 115 years’ experience, the company provides chocolate producers with a uniquely skilled, reliable partner: a partner who helps them select the right solutions and provides close support throughout the process, from product preparation to primary and secondary packaging.
Sebastian Clemens will lead the SACMI Packaging & Chocolate sales team from the Des Moines office in Iowa, home to SACMI USA, the SACMI Group's North American manufacturing and sales strategy hub.
As Area Manager, Clemens has achieved excellent results in recent years. Now, in his new role, he’ll be able to draw on extensive experience in the industry, initially in packaging (where he handled the engineering-automation field for companies such as Bosch Sigpack Systems AG) and then in chocolate, where he was sales account manager for the Bühler Group.
“With Sebastian heading sales”, observes Mark Lozano, North American Operations VP of SACMI Packaging & Chocolate, “we’re keeping the focus on steady growth and a strengthening of team skills so our American customers can count on innovative, ever-better services”.
